Fix Your LinkedIn Profile

Your profile is the first thing people check before they reply to your DM or comment on your post. If it doesn't clearly say what you do and who you help, you lose them.

Headline formula:

"Helping [ICP] achieve [specific outcome] in [timeframe] using [mechanism]"

Example: "Helping B2B SaaS founders add $15K-$30K MRR in 90 days through LinkedIn inbound content"

About section structure (keep it under 300 words):

  1. Open with the 3 problems your ICP has right now
  2. One sentence: who you help, what outcome, what timeframe
  3. 2-3 case studies with specific numbers
  4. One CTA: "DM me to see if this works for your company"

Custom button:

Set it to your free trial or booking link. This is the most clicked element on your profile.

Featured section:

Put your best lead magnet, a case study video, or a testimonial here. People who scroll this far need more proof before they act — give it to them.

Section 2

Post 5x Per Week Using 4 Content Types

Post every weekday. Each post type does a different job.

Structure:

  • Line 1-3: Outcome + timeframe + what you're giving away
  • Body: 6-8 bullet points of what's inside the resource
  • CTA: "Comment SEND and I'll DM it to you. Make sure we're connected."

These posts should get 500-1,000+ comments when done correctly.

Wednesday — Product usage post

Walk through a specific process step by step. Mention Prosp as the tool you use at the relevant step — not in the hook, not in the CTA, just where it naturally fits in the workflow. End with: "P.S. Want me to set this up for you? Comment DM."

Tuesday — Thought leadership post

One bold claim. Back it with data or a real example. Break down why it matters. No CTA needed — this builds credibility for your conversion posts.

Friday — Story post

One per week maximum. Structure: the problem you or a client had → what changed → the result. Connect it to a lesson. Keep it under 250 words.

Monthly content rotation:

Automate Delivery Of Your Lead Magnet

💡 What is a Lead Magnet/Giveaway post?

A “Lead Magnet” post is a LinkedIn post where you provide an asset in exchange of an action from the audience.

E.g, Comment “DM” + Connect with me and I’ll send you the resource for FREE

How to Create Viral Lead Magnets 📈

The 3 Core Sections For Viral Lead Magnets

1️⃣ Scroll-Stopping Hook

There are 2 main goals you're looking to achieve with a hook:

  1. Get the reader to stop scrolling
  2. Get the reader to click to read more (if applicable)

If you can do those, your job is done.

There’s 3 core emotions that are evoked in social media hooks:

  1. Desire - “This is how I generated $121,034 with my agency last month”
  2. Curiosity - “The secret outreach strategy that you’ve probably never heard of”
  3. Fear - “My 10 biggest regrets as a 40 year old prisoner”

**2️⃣ Value Proposition **

This is simple. All you need to do is:

  1. Clearly explain why they need it
  2. Detail what they can accomplish with it

3️⃣ Maximizing Reach With Killer CTAs

The perfect lead magnet CTA is split into 2 parts:

  1. Necessary actions - “Comment 💎 + Follow/Connect to get access”
  2. Bonus actions for bonus rewards - “P.S - repost if you want a bonus {{resource}}”

The more steps you add, the more friction is created. This will lead to less comments and therefore less reach.

↳ Make it as easy as possible to take the next steps.

4️⃣ Preview Media

  • Short/sped-up video GIFs
  • Blurred screenshots
  • Curiosity-building visuals

Section 4

Qualify Leads Over DM

Most people send the resource and go silent. Here's the 6-step sequence that turns comments into booked calls.

Day 0 — Send the resource.

No pitch.

Day 2 — Follow up with one question:

"Did you get a chance to look at it? Quick question — how are you currently thinking about [their pain point]?"

**Don't ask **

Day 3-4: Once they reply, ask 3 qualification questions across the conversation (not all at once):

  1. "What's your current MRR?" (tells you if they can afford your product)
  2. "What's the biggest challenge you're facing with [pain point]?" (tells you urgency)
  3. "Are you actively looking to solve this or just exploring?" (separates buyers from browsers)

Day 5-6

If they're qualified, pitch based on what they told you: "Based on what you shared, I think I can help. We've helped [similar companies] go from [their situation] to [outcome] in [timeframe]. Would you be open to a 20-minute call? I have [specific times] available."

Day 10

If no reply: "Hey [Name], following up — did you get a chance to think about it?"

Day 14

Send a new relevant resource related to what they mentioned.

Day 21 — Final message:

"Completely understand if timing isn't right. I'll check back in a month. Feel free to reach out if anything changes."

**Never **

Section 5

Run Setup Calls, Not Sales Calls

Don't call it a sales call. Call it a setup call. You're there to set up the tool for them — not pitch them.

How to offer it:

In your product usage posts, add: "P.S. If you want me to set [specific system] up for you, comment DM"

In DM conversations, after they show interest: "I can walk you through the setup on a quick call. Would [day/time] work?"

Call structure (45 minutes):

  • 0-5 min: Light conversation
  • 5-15 min: Ask about their current situation, what they've tried, what they want
  • 15-35 min: Share your screen. Set up their actual account — not a demo. Let them see the tool working for their specific use case.
  • 35-40 min: "What questions or concerns do you have?"
  • 40-45 min: "To get you fully set up, I just need your payment details. We won't charge until after the 14-day trial — this just makes the transition seamless."

The Numbers to Track Every Week

Top of funnel:

  • LinkedIn impressions per post
  • Follower growth
  • Comments on lead magnet posts

Middle of funnel:

  • DM conversations started
  • Qualified leads (answered your 3 questions)
  • Setup calls booked + show rate

Bottom of funnel:

  • Trials started
  • Trial → paid conversion rate
  • Monthly churn

Benchmark: 100 lead magnet comments should produce:

  • 80 DM conversations
  • 24 qualified leads
  • 12 booked calls
  • 7-8 trials started
  • 2-3 paying customers

If any stage is underperforming, that's where you fix first before touching anything else.
